Just some thoughts

The other day I was watching Hogan Knows Best. For those of you that don't know about this show, it's a reality series that follows around Hulk Hogan (the wrestler) and his family. I usually don't watch it, but there was nothing else on and I think I was doing homework anyway, so I didn't really care. In the episode I saw, Linda (the Hulkster's wife) and the Hulk were walking around their neighborhood meeting neighbors and giving out homemade cookies because they had just moved in. I was AMAZED at how many people were so rude to them!! It was so sad. I felt so bad for the Hulkster. People didn't even want to talk to them, and the first family they tried to give cookies to were just like-No. We don't want them. When Linda asked why they were like-We're kosher. Like..Duh, are you retarded? The Hogan's didn't even know what Kosher meant!! Poor guys. But even though everyone...well, basically everyone, one guy was cool.. Was super mean to them, they were like-Lets have a big party and invite the whole neighborhood. They went all over South Beach trying to figure out what kosher is. The Hulk just thought it meant pickles...Anyway. They had this huge bbq and had kosher food and non kosher food. But then a rabbi came over to get a burger from the Hulk and was like-I can't eat that. The kosher meat is being cooked with the non kosher meat. Poor Hulk. Luckily, they had a kosher cater, too! They're like little, prepared Boy Scouts.
So. While this whole story doesn't really have anything to do with anything...I just thought it was interesting how quick we are to judge people (like the neighbors judged them just cause their famous...I'm guessing that's why..I know, I'm judging now too), and how people you think probably wouldn't care less if they had friends, really do! And want to make people happy just like everyone else! Aw, the Happy Hogan Family.

New thoughts.

Last night I went on a date with my friend, Erin. I've known her since I was 5 from church. She's going to school up here, and last night Jon Schmidt came to town!!! Jon Schmidt is a pianist, an AMAZING pianist, and I think most LDS people have heard of him. So since Cody works at nights, and since I was dying to go, I asked Erin to be my date. His show was absolutely wonderful. It was so funny how much he got into all his music--he looked like a turtle cause his head was bobbing in and out and all around. Erin was like-But wouldn't you do that if you could play that well? Heck yes I would! It totally inspired me to learn how to play. Like ACTUALLY learn how to play. Two of his songs were so beautiful I was totally crying. (Which is so surprising because I never cry at anything!....HA) If anyone ever has the chance to go hear him play, do it! You'll be so happy you did!

So sad for the Hogan's. He used to have a cartoon when I was little. Me and Noah watched it a lot. Also - did you know that they're getting divorced? The Hogan's. Don't cry. They'll be ok. They'll make new friends and maybe she'll get bigger boobs even. who knows. Actually - of all the Hogan knows best shows I've seen (one) I've seen that sad episode. Funny huh? How are you? Love you!
