Last year, Cody and I were Olive Oyl and Popeye, AND I made our whole costumes. Ok, ok, so our actual clothing came mostly from Goodwill, but I turned them into more than just shirts and skirts and into replicas of Olive Oyl and Popeye!
Cody was also super involved in helping create our costumes. He made his spinach can, and after I told him we could use nylons for his giant Popeye muscles, he figured out the rest! (Even asking if we could unstitch one of my pillows to use the stuffing as muscles...which we did) :)
Our family LOVES Halloween, and it was so fun working together on something that we enjoy so much! The Dating Divas are all about spending time with your hunnies, and that's exactly what we accomplished.
