I just don't understand it...

Lately I've discovered the new trend of blogging--totally ragging on your husband.

I think it's disgusting.

And it's not only ragging on the man of the house; it includes your kids, too. (Mostly just people with older kids do this.)

I know a lot of these blogs are all in good fun, and the husbands probably don't care, but I just don't understand it. Why would this be appealing to blog about? And why is it appealing to read?

Your husband (and kids, for those blogs that are kid-unfriendly) is your FAMILY. He's your husband, your best friend, your confidant...Or should be, at least.

I don't spend a lot of time on this blog bragging about how fabulous Cody is, or how much I love him, but I would never, ever blog about something he does or enjoys that annoys me. I just don't get it! If Cody had his own blog, or ever blogged on here, and started talking about all my little things he doesn't like, I'd be more than just offended. I'd be SERIOUSLY ticked off. And if he had a blog whose sole purpose was discussing these things about me, we'd be having a very serious talk.

Didn't Thumper say, "If you can't say something nice... Don't say nothing at all." I think we could all use some nice feelings more often. Let's try to be nice...Not only in person, but in the blogosphere, too!
