Baby Pictures...Lots and lots of baby pictures

So much has happened lately and I haven't put up any pictures! I can't believe it. Chloe is almost 7 months old (this Sunday!)!! She loves to give hugs and now she puts her arms up anytime she wants us to pick her up. It's adorable. She's talking more and more and loves all the solid foods we give her! Yesterday we gave her a sippy cup for the first time and while Cody was holding it for her she couldn't figure it out! She just kept biting it. But as soon as he gave it to her to hold she just went to town! It was awesome.

Ok, on to the pictures. Cody took them all!

Ok, I know I said she loves all the solid foods she gets...But this was the first time she tried sweet potatoes and she didn't know what to think! Now she likes them. Promise.

But even though she didn't like them, she wanted the spoon

Next was bananas. She wasn't feeling that either. Like mother, like daughter!! (She does like them now...So it's more like father, like daughter.)
Sleeping baby
In her Easter Dress! She was so pretty all dressed up.

hahahaha
Chloe's first time playing outside!!
First time in her highchair!
Sitting up all by herself!!
Pretty blue eyes!
Teething...But that's a whole other blog post.

Mother's Day

My Mother's Day was AWESOME! Cody was so nice and took care of everything. Normally I wake up with Chloe every morning whenever she wakes up, but on Mother's Day, he did it! I got to sleep in 1 1/2 hours longer than normal! It was amazing. Then I was woken up by Cody and Chloe and we all played until I had to take a shower. Cody made me blueberry pancakes (YUM!) in the shape of a heart! It was so sweet. He also bought me an African Violet plant. It's so cool! The leaves are all velvety and awesome. I love it! We had a really relaxing day and Cody made cheeseburgers that night and even let me watch Notting Hill! Love that movie! After Chloe went to sleep we had chocolate fondue with strawberries, angel food cake and pretzels. Double yum. It was amazing. I could've eaten it forever! I have the sweetest, best husband ever!

I hope everyone else had fabulous Mother's Day! We are so grateful for our mom's and all the things the do for us ALL THE TIME! They're so wonderful and we love them so much!! We love you!

The Missionaries Came Over!

(This was written last Monday- 5/11...I just never posted it.)

I have a post I want to do about Mother's Day, but I just wanted to post my exciting news!! The missionaries came over! I've never, EVER had the missionaries knock on my door unless they were coming over for dinner or something. And I've definitely never had them come tract me out in Rexburg! It was so exciting.

I was just sitting, watching Trading Spouses with Chloe and I saw the shadow of a ton of people outside. I was really confused, and kinda freaked out (I think you know I'm so, so, so afraid of bad guys) and then they knocked on my door. Luckily, my window was open (I always want to look out the window to see who's at the door first, before I open it, but the blindes are usually closed and I always feel like if the person sees me open the blinds to see who they are then I have no choice except to answer the door because they know I'm home. Wow run-on sentence.), so I looked outside and I saw a short haircut, a long-sleeved white shirt and a name tag! I was like-Yeah! I'm not afraid of you!

I opened the door and there were 3 young men. Two missionaries and one other guy, Miles. He was doing splits with them. Anyway, Elder Burton (the blonde one) started talking to me about Heavenly Father's plan of happiness and asked if they could come in and share a message with me. I told them I'm totally ok with them sharing a message, but not right then because Cody wasn't home. Then I told them I was LDS and my little brother was on a mission, so I'm all about missionaries...at least for the next month until Dan comes home. haha, jk. I'll always support missionaries. Elder Burton asked me how the gospel has blessed my life and then I asked if I could take a picture of them! I was so, so excited! I think they thought I was a little lame...But I didn't care. I thought it was awesome.
