After we got back from the beach, everyone hung out, took naps and showered. When everyone was ready, we went to Carr Park for Chloe's birthday picnic! Chloe got to do her favorite thing ever-pull napkins apart! She was so, so happy! We had TONS of super yummy food (sandwiches on french rolls with turkey, ham or pastrami, pepperjack, american and provolone cheese, lots of condiments including "Spicy Brown" mustard :) and fruit salad, potato salad, and greek salad. We forgot the chips at home...But no one missed them. We were all STUFFED!) and all just talked and ate for awhile.Chloe and Cody went and played on the playground for awhile while everyone else finished eating. She went down the twisty slide by herself...Then Cody helped her the rest of the time. She loves going down the little slide alone...But I don't think she's ready for the twisty ones yet. Not by herself at least. Then Cody took her on the biggest slide there. It was so funny to watch them! I think Cody is a little too big for it...They kept getting stuck on the way down. But Chloe still loved it!!!Finally at the bottom! After they played, this guy came to visit us. So we all took a little field trip and went to feed the ducks! It was so fun and Chloe LOVED it. There are so many ducks that just bombard you so you have to get ontop of tables to keep them away. We tried to keep Chloe on the table to throw the bread, but she couldn't resist getting down to walk through them. I was afraid they'd come up to her and she'd be scared or they'd try to peck at her, but they were scared of her! They would quickly move out of her way everytime she came around. She started out with bread to feed to them....but ended up just eating it all herself.
Such cute, little ducks :)
After the ducks the girls laid on blankets and talked while the boys played frisbee. Then we went home for presents, cake and ice cream!!! Coming up soon...Chloe's Party Part 3! :)
