Update

Just wanted to throw in a quick update..

I'm almost 19 weeks! Woohoo! On Tuesday we'll find out what we're having and we're SO SO SO excited! (Make sure to cast your vote on our poll before then!!)
Everything is going really great. I think I am feeling the baby move, but I'm never really sure..It just feels like a little flick kinda.
My morning sickness has ALMOST gone away. Yep, almost 19 weeks and still throwing up. But it's really occasional now. In my 17th week I didn't throw up at ALL! That was my best week. But it's come back and luckily I still have some medicine to make it a little better when it does come.
My belly button is totally flat and the corner is trying to pop out! It's so so so weird. My belly button used to be REALLY deep-like the whole top part of my index finger up to my first knuckle could fit inside-but now it can't fit anything. I think it's so cute. Cody thinks it disgusting! Whenever I touch it he's grossed out and tells me to put it away. :) Haha I bet he's going to be really grossed out when it pops out the whole way!
And the one thing that is bugging me the most is my throat. It doesn't hurt so much but it kinda feels like it's burning almost. Just my throat and a little in the very back of my mouth going down my throat. What does that mean? Can we make it go away? Because it's so annoying and I don't know what to do. I always think if I eat cold things it'll make it feel better but it doesn't. I've looked at it (as best I can) and it looks normal, so I don't know what is going on. It's just really uncomfortable and annoying. Anyone have any advice?

In non-pregnancy news:
We are about halfway done with school! Yeah!!! So excited. We're also looking for a new apartment and found the perfect one, but it's for rent right NOW and our contract doesn't end until July 31. So if we got it (which we were thinking about) we'd have to pay for rent for 2 months on 2 apartments..Plus utilities and a deposit on our new one. We decided to try to sell our contract on the school's bulletin board and if our perfect apartment is gone before our contract is gone we'll know it wasn't meant to be. Sigh. Oh well. We'll find another one just as good I'm hoping.

Hope everyone is having a good week! Don't forget to vote! :)

Grey's Anatomy... Season 4

I just finished watching the last episode of season 4 of Greys. And I know this doesn't matter a lot to people, but I love love LOVE this show. I don't really have a lot to say about it, because I don't want to ruin it for anyone else if they watch it but haven't yet (watch it at abc.com-they have the whole episode with like no commericals. It's wonderful), so I'll just say this.

I know it's just a show, but it's amazing and it makes me so happy.

And Alyssa, if you can understand my message through all my bawling-ness, you should call me back :)

Tagged!

I was tagged by Lindsay...And it's supposed to be 6 facts...but I couldn't think of that many!

A ~ Each person has to list 5 facts/habits about them.
B ~ After part A, go to 5 people's blogs and leave a comment letting them know to read your blog, and that they have been tagged. List at the end of your posting who you have tagged.

1. I can't do a cannonball when I'm jumping into a swimming pool. I grab my knees and then let go..pretty much right away. I don't know how to hold on...I think it just scares me too much to land in a pool like that.

2. I HATE HATE HATE when people touch my nose. I don't let anyone touch it. Not even Cody. When I was little Noah would squeeze my nose from the top to the bottom and be like-Don't you hate when people do this? And I did..But I let him do it cause I thought he was cool. But now it's basically ruined my nose's life cause it FREAKS me out when people get close to my nose.

3. I have a BIG personal space bubble. I don't like when people are too close to me or my stuff. I'm ok with some people and some situations-like if I'm in a class and all the seats are close together like the Taylor building-and the class is full so they don't have a choice but to sit next to you...but if there are plenty of seats and someone (a stranger) sits next to me... it makes me so so so mad. I usually will put my purse on one side and my backpack on the other. Today I put my water bottle on my desk and this girl grabbed it and started looking at the label and I almost had a panic attack. I grabbed it back the first chance I got.

4. I always do the same routine in the morning. I've had to change a little bit lately to try to figure out how I can stop getting sick...but I always get up, go to the bathroom, take a shower-which consits of shampooing my hair, washing my face, conditioning my hair, shaving, then body wash-and only with dove exfoliating body wash. After the shower my makeup routine and then hair is always, always, always the same. If I change it it messes up everything and takes so much longer to get ready.

5. I love writing in journals. LOVE it. I haven't done it for a really long time though...Like since I got married. At least not regularly. I think I realized that all my journals are basically about boys and all the drama that was happening in high school and jr. high. And now all that drama is gone, so I feel like there's nothing to write about! I think if I just kept writing I might be surprised, though.

I tag: Amy, April, Christine, and Paige

So...

It's been a long time. I know. A lot has happened since then. Let me give you the run down.

My hair used to be blonde like this...
I hated it, you hated it, we all hated it. I needed a change. (Can you tell in the picture I'm like soooo not happy with how I look??)

I dyed it. Well, I had someone dye it for me. This lady I know did it at her house. I was there from 5 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. trying to get it perfect. In the middle of the dying (our first try)...it came out like this.
Can you tell I'm still not very happy?? She weaved the color in, leaving big spots of blonde out for highlights...It was just too much blonde still. I wanted to be brown again. I like having brown hair. The next time I get sick of brown hair and say I don't want to look like a librarian anymore, someone PLEASE tell me that Meredith has brown hair...And she doesn't look like a librarian. She is just wonderful.

I told myself (before I saw my hair) that it didn't matter what it looked like because I had a LOT of homework to do and I thought the whole process would only take a couple of hours (letting me be done around 7 or 7:30, when it was already almost 9 and I was just freaking out about my homework), but once I saw it, I knew I had to stay and we had to do it again. But this time I was really hoping it would be the perfect one..because when she was done the second time it was 10:00 and we were out of color.

Luckily, it was good!! I was happy and it looked like this.
(ps can you see the color has gotten on my face? it's on my nose and it was on my forehead and cheeks when we were done..) (pss can you tell I'm a little bit happier?)

We took a more normal picture too, just so you can actually tell there is still a little blonde in it. But only a little.

After my hair was back to normal, we traveled to Utah over the weekend because Amy graduated from the University of Utah!!! Hooray! We're so excited she's (basically) done with her master's program and doesn't have to do school anymore. I wish Cody and I were that lucky! Her graduation was on Thursday and Friday, so we didn't actually get to be there for that, but she had an open house on Saturday that was really fun! We had a good time and got to see a lot of family and friends.

We (My mom, Amy, Seth, Katie, Cody and I) also went to the cemetery in Springville to see Catheryn and Steve's headstone. It just was put on (and we think Cody's cousin, Dustin did it! He works for Walker...whatever it's called...and he thinks he remembers seeing it.) and none of us had seen it.
It looks like this: This is the front-
and this is the back

We all think it looks awesome. We were really surprised at how clear the picture came out, but it looks great. We had a great time there...I know, kinda weird that people have fun in the cemetery...But we couldn't stop laughing the whole time. We were talking about the headstone and my mom was like-It's guaranteed for life! Katie was like.....Whose life??? OH my gosh we could not stop laughing. It was hilarious.

On Sunday we went to Spanish Fork with Alyssa and Ryan to visit Cody's grandparents. It was so fun! On our way up we had to stop to let some chickens cross the road... After we took pictures and were driving away I was like-Dang it! We should've asked them why they crossed the road!! I thought it was hilarious. Everyone else pity laughed for me :) After we ate and played some games, Alyssa and I went to see my friend, Polly, and Cody and Ryan went to Ryans. Polly just left on Wednesday to serve her mission in Chicago!!! YEAH! We're so excited for her and for Chicago. After we were done visiting with her we went to Ryan's parents place and ate really good hamburgers that he and Dustin had made for us! Oh, that sounds so good right now. When we were done eating we took off, back to Idaho and the snow in mid-May.

Hooray for updates!
